Logistical Support:

Navigating the challenges of conducting research in Tanzania can be daunting.  SFTZ staff can advise on the procedures for processing International Review Board (IRB) submissions and research clearance, and obtaining the introductory letters and permissions required to conduct interviews and focus groups in both the urban and rural areas.  SFTZ works with the National Institute of Medical Research (NIMR) staff and with the Tanzanian Wildlife Research Institute (TAWIRI) and can work with agencies and organizations submit the appropriate documents.
